What do I need to bring with me for my first visit?

Please bring completed intake forms found on the “contact us” page of the website. If you are coming on a Physicians referral, please complete that form (also found on the contact us page of website) and bring with you as well. Also, you will want to be well hydrated, so drink plenty of water 48 hours before your appointment.

What should I expect on my first visit?

Your initial visit will consist of reviewing your health history, completing a postural assessment and analysis, muscle testing and body mapping. This takes approximately 30 minutes with the remainder of your session on the table.

How long is an appointment?

First time client appointments are always 90 minutes in length. (Children under the age of 15, 60 minutes.) After your first appointment you may choose either a 60, 90 or 120 minute session. ( For sessions shorter or longer than listed above, please call the office).

What if I am unable to make my appointment?

There is a 24 hour cancellation policy.

What if I am running late for my appointment?

Life happens and everyone can run behind schedule. Although we will do our best to accommodate you, due to our busy schedule we might not be able to extend your appointment time. There are no pro rated sessions and full payment is due at time of service.

What do I need to do after my session?

First feel better. After each appointment your therapist will discuss their findings in the session and make suggestions to guide you on how to make the most of your massage.

How often should I come in for a massage?

After each session a personalized plan will be recommended for you so that you can achieve your optimum health goals.

Does insurance cover my massage?

Many times insurance companies will cover a percentage of the cost of clinical massage therapy, and may need a doctor’s referral. Talk with your insurance provider prior to coming in. However, Harrington Massage Therapy does not file insurance claims for you. Payment in full is required after each appointment. Insurance friendly receipts are available upon request.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, check or credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express. Payment in full is due at time of service.
