About Us

What is Therapeutic Massage?

Therapeutic massage is very specific goal oriented bodywork that is performed for the enhancement of health. That means relieving pain, correcting muscle dysfunction, detoxification, releasing tissue tensions, creating balance and stimulating the body’s innate healing capabilities.

What problems can massage help with?

Therapeutic massage can aid in issues with: headaches, edema, muscle pain, TMJ, carpal tunnel, frozen shoulder, rotator cuff, ADHD/ADD, memory problems, kidney, gall bladder, chronic pain, arthritis, stomach pains, back pains, whiplash, postural distortion, gait, pelvic dysfunction, anxiety, stress and more.

What can I expect in my first visit?

It is important to come approximately 15 minutes prior to your first visit and have your paperwork properly filled out. Next, sometime will be spent discussing your health history and assessing your specific concerns through muscle testing, postural analysis and body listening techniques. It is important to remember that the body does not become dysfunctional overnight and therefore, you should expect to have 3-5 visits to correct or improve your needs. After the initial visits, a personalized maintenance plan will be designed just for you.
